Responsibilities:
- Customize and build WordPress components to fulfill specific client requests.
- Ensure website stability and protection by regularly updating WordPress core, themes, and add-ons.
- Optimize site performance by implementing caching, compressing images, and other best practices.
- Identify and fix issues affecting website functionality, user experience, and server performance.
- Optimize website content and structure using on-page SEO best practices.
- Develop intuitive UI elements that encourage seamless user interaction.
- Ensure website features and performance are in line with business goals by collaborating with relevant teams.
- Apply security protocols to safeguard websites against threats and vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or any related field.
- Proficiency and advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, and so on.
- Experienced with WordPress, covering themes, plugin management, and the administrative interface.
- Proven experience showcased through past projects and open-source contributions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Keeping up with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and best practices.
- Great communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Location: Remote
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 (non-negotiable)
