We are looking for a talented and motivated PHP developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance web applications using PHP and related technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean code that processes data, interacts with databases, and handles server-side logic.
- Create modules, API endpoints, and other components that form the foundation of web applications.
- Write code that is efficient, reusable, and can handle increasing traffic and data.
- Interact with databases, writing SQL queries to store, retrieve, and manipulate data, and optimize database performance.
- Identify and fix errors in the codebase and ensure the application functions correctly.
- Write test units, and create documentation for the codes.
- Integrate back-end codes with front-end components, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Data science or a related field.
- Proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery).
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL and writing complex queries.
- Version control experience.
- Experience with Laravel Queues, Events, and Middleware.
- Exposure to DevOps tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Location: Remote
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 (non-negotiable)
