Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy natural language processing (NLP) models for applications such as text classification, sentiment analysis, and machine translation.
- Enhance algorithm efficiency to improve both performance and accuracy.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze large-scale datasets while ensuring data quality and relevance to effectively train NLP models for specific applications.
- Keep up with the latest advancements in NLP and apply innovative techniques to refine and optimize current models.
- Partner with technical and product teams to generate insights and effectively communicate results to stakeholders at all levels.
- Deploy NLP models into production environments and monitor performance to ensure accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all modeling activities are well-documented to support version control, knowledge sharing, and compliance audits.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ with hands-on experience using NLP frameworks.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms combined with expertise in data preprocessing and text analysis techniques.
- Experience with data annotation and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and knowledge of version control systems.
- Good communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Location: Remote
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 (non-negotiable)
