Transformers Specialist

About The Position

Supervise the Transformer's major overhaul and or repair activities. Assist in Transformer oil test procedures, Analyze the oil test results, and recommend the corrections required. Supervise the Transformer oil filtration activities. Supervise the testing of Transformer inbuilt protections. Propose the modifications required for safe and reliable operation of the Transformers. The specialist shall provide SOW and a Bill of materials required to execute the modification. Upon COMPANY approval, the Specialist shall supervise the execution of modifications. Execute the modifications required in the Transformers. Upon COMPANY approval test the modification for successful implementation and provide a report on the modifications executed. 

Requirements

Bachelors in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering. Minimum 10 Years of experience in the Installation, troubleshooting, repair, modification, configuration/setting change, testing, commissioning, and startup of MV, LV Transformers Must have knowledge of PROLEC Transformers Good interpersonal skills and exposure/experience to Offshore platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willing to work on short-term (2 weeks) - medium-term (6 months) commissioning/services
