Steam & Critical Power Generators Specialist

About The Position

Supervise the generator's major overhaul and or repair activities. Supervise the testing and commissioning activities of the Generators. Propose the modifications required for the safe and reliable operation of the generators. Provide SOW and a Bill of materials required to execute the modification. Upon COMPANY approval, the Specialist shall supervise the execution of modifications. Study the power system operation and control system of generators and provide the modification required in the control system. Execute the modifications required in the control system upon COMPANY approval test the modification for successful implementation and provide a report on the modifications executed.

Requirements

Bachelors in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering. Minimum 10 Years of experience in the Installation, overhaul, repair, tuning, troubleshooting, repair, modification, configuration/setting change, testing, commissioning, and startup of Steam & Critical Power Generators Must have knowledge of GE turbine Generators and MUSTANG/CATERPILLAR Critical Power Generators Good interpersonal skills and exposure/experience to Offshore platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willing to work on short-term (2 weeks) - medium-term (6 months) commissioning/services
