Solar Technician/Engineer
Job summary
We are looking for an innovative, dedicated engineer who has a broad and general fascination with the engineering sciences and who follows international engineering trends and technologies. The engineer’s responsibilities include defining problems, researching, interpreting, and applying information, developing solutions, and making decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement
- Install and wire solar PV systems, including inverters and batteries
- Connect systems to the electrical grid and perform safety testing
- Diagnose and repair faults in solar systems and components
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes
- Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Training other engineering personnel.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an OND in electrical engineering/related field.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and listening skills.
- Practical knowledge and experience in solar design, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of solar components is of high advantage.
- A trade test is an added advantage.
