Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and monitor enterprise applications and systems and ensure that end users can use the system satisfactorily.
- Perform incident investigation and escalation to back-office and follow up for immediate resolution per SLA provisions.
- Participate in troubleshooting issues with systems and software.
- Properly communicate (oral and written) to all stakeholders (end users, back office, vendors, other technical peers) using the right language, at the right time, and respectfully.
- Document observations daily and write weekly and monthly Technical Reports to the departmental head.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information System, Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Change Request process, Technical Report Writing, Application Security (from the standpoint of SSL, Antivirus, Data and Privacy Policy, Password Standard), Systems and Software observability, monitoring, and log interpretation. The Windows Operating System and basic knowledge of systems (memory requirements, performance, connectivity to network, and common data types and data format, file system). Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage. Documenting Incidents in CRM.
- Tools and Platforms: Customer Related Software is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Akwa Ibom culture – norms, language, and power distance.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment, and be able to learn about systems.
- Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.
- Possess excellent organizational skills, and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with people, understand their needs and respond objectively while protecting their privacy.
