Site Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct topographical, boundary, and land surveys on construction sites.
• Carry out setting-out for buildings, roads, foundations, columns, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Establish and maintain site benchmarks, control points, and reference levels.
• Verify coordinates, dimensions, levels, and alignments in line with approved project drawings.
• Prepare and maintain survey records, reports, and as-built drawings.
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS/GNSS devices.
• Interpret construction drawings and convert them into accurate site setting-out instructions.
• Collaborate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure precise execution of works.
• Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and tolerances.
• Identify and report discrepancies between actual site conditions and design drawings.

Requirements:

• HND or BSc in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years relevant experience in construction or site surveying projects.
• Professional certification is an added advantage.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other surveying software.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical and spatial measurement skills.
• Good understanding of construction methods, standards, and tolerances.
• Ability to work effectively with site teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
