Service Engineer
Job summary
We are seeking to hire an experienced Service Engineer Executive to support installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of laboratory and analytical instruments, ensuring optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission laboratory and analytical instruments
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and electro-mechanical faults
- Assist in laboratory benching installation and instrument setup
- Provide first-level technical support to clients
- Escalate complex technical issues appropriately
- Maintain workshop tools and service documentation
- Provide technical input to Sales when required
- B.Eng./HND in Electronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronics.
- 1–3 years’ experience in laboratory or biomedical equipment servicing
- Basic computer skills (MS Office and system configuration)
- Basic electronics troubleshooting
- Instrument installation and testing
- Technical documentation
- Sound knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of instrumentation principles and signal flow
- Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques
- Fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
- Equipment calibration and performance verification
- Familiarity with laboratory and biomedical instrumentation
- Time management and adherence to service schedules
- Customer service orientation and professional conduct
- Ability to work independently and within a field service team
