Senior Service Engineer

Our client is in the energy space and is a leading provider of sustainable and renewable energy solutions with offices across Nigeria.

Job Title: Senior Service Engineer

Reports To: Assistant Service Manager

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical contracting services, including work on UPS systems, inverters, and servo stabilizers.

• Execute installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Numeric UPS units and other major brands (200 kVA and above), as well as high-capacity stabilizers. Install Deye and SMA inverters, including other high-capacity inverter systems.

• Carry out electrical cabling installation and work on LV electrical panels.

• Prepare technical specifications in line with contractual and project requirements.

•Plan, implement, and coordinate electrical projects to ensure timely and quality execution.

Perform installation and troubleshooting of high-capacity solar power systems.

• Provide high-quality technical support services to customers.

• Work as a field service engineer with a readiness to travel extensively.

• Accurately update and submit job tickets within required timelines.

• Ensure JCC documents are signed by customers and submitted to the Lagos headquarters weekly.

• Train and mentor junior engineers on UPS repair, installation, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in relevant discipline, Electronics/Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 6-8 years’ field experience of products mentioned above.

• Experience with Emerson, Schneider and MGE equipment

• Hands on experience in field services for Numeric and Reillo UPS/inverter

• Team leadership skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Excellent English oral and written communication skill

• High standard of attention to detail

• Ability to work to deadlines

• Experience in field services in Nigeria an advantage
