Role Description

BAFF is looking to hire a results-driven and experienced Credit Analyst / SME Loan Officer to support the growth of our Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) portfolio in Lagos.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a Tier-1 Microfinance Bank in Lagos
Proven track record in SME loan sourcing, portfolio management, and credit assessment
Strong business development and relationship management skills
Good understanding of the SME lending landscape in Lagos
Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data and risk assessment
Excellent Communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
Solid understanding of Finance principles and practices
Attention to detail and organizational skills to support credit decision-making
Proficiency in financial software tools and MS Office Suite
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus
Prior experience in a credit analysis or financial analysis role is strongly preferred
