Security Systems Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure security systems, including CCTV cameras, intrusion detection systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Conduct site surveys to assess security requirements and recommend suitable solutions to clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with security systems, including hardware and software components.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, system testing, and equipment calibration, to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide training to clients on how to operate and maintain security systems effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and external partners to deliver high-quality security solutions within specified timelines and budgets.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in security technology to recommend innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Systems Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security system components, including CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and networking equipment.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting security system hardware and software.-
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
