We are hiring an entry-level Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive outbound prospecting on LinkedIn. Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Research:
- Build and maintain targeted prospect lists based on our Ideal Customer Profile (industry, job titles, company size, location).
- Research prospects to personalise outreach (company updates, role context, likely pain points, mutual connections).
- Capture accurate notes and context for each prospect to support qualification and handover.
LinkedIn Outreach & Appointment Setting:
- Send daily connection requests with tailored notes (no generic spam).
- Run structured follow-up sequences via LinkedIn messages.
- Qualify interest and confirm basic fit before scheduling (role, relevance, timing, authority, where possible).
- Book meetings into the team calendar, share clear meeting context, and send confirmations.
CRM / Tracking & Reporting:
- Update CRM/Tracker daily: new leads, connection status, replies, meetings booked, and outcomes.
- Track response/acceptance rates and contribute ideas to improve messaging and targeting.
- Submit a weekly summary report with performance metrics and pipeline insights.
Quality & Compliance:
- Prioritise meeting quality: correct decision-maker, relevant company, clear meeting purpose, and accurate notes.
- Maintain a professional brand tone and follow platform best practices to reduce account risk.
Requirements:
- Strong written English and professional messaging style.
- Comfortable with structured, repeatable daily work and follow-up discipline.
- Basic research skills (LinkedIn, Google, company websites).
- Good organisation: tracking, notes, and prioritisation.
- Reliable internet access and a laptop; confident using LinkedIn.
- Any prior outreach/appointment setting experience (including internships or campus roles).
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive) or well-structured Google Sheets.
- Understanding of B2B sales basics (ICP, qualification, handling objections).
Key Performance Indicator:
- Connection requests sent per day: 40–80 (quality-focused).
- Acceptance rate target: 20–35% (varies by niche).
- Reply rate target: 8–15%.
- Qualified meetings booked per week: 5–12 (depending on offer and segment).
- Data hygiene: 100% same-day updates to CRM/tracker.
Benefits:
- Hourly (contract) Entry-level: NGN1,500 – 3,000 per hour.
- Stronger Candidate (with SDR/outreach experience): NGN 3,000 – 6,000 per hour.
- Monthly: NGN180,000 – 450,000 per month (depending on experience and targets).
- Bonus per qualified meeting attended & closed-won deals influenced.
Remuneration: NGN 180,000.00 - 450,000.00.
