Project Manager (Major Capital Projects) III

Responsibilities:

• Integrates Development Planning and Sub-surface Teamwork products into overall project plans
• Works with functions to identify and resolve Key Issues
• Leads Project Team and Project Leadership Team (PLT)
• Responsible for selected co-venture, commercial, and government relationships with respect to the project

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Engineering
• Engineering or Physical Science Degree required
• 15+ years’ experience with a background in technical development planning, facility design, and Reservoir Engineering in the oil and gas industry
• Extensive knowledge of SEPNU oil and gas assets, production profiles, and associated risks/challenges
• Knowledge of industry practices for project evaluation & decision-making
• Experience in major capital projects for the oil and gas industry
• Experience on international projects, with at least two overseas assignments
• Experience in the execution of a major capital project is preferred
• Experience oil and gas industry
• Leadership and personnel management skills to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including operations, co-ventures, and host government representatives.
• The candidate must be an effective teacher and mentor, able to share knowledge and experience
• Proficiency in most Project Management skills (e.g. execution planning, contracting/procurement, cost estimating, project controls, planning & scheduling, organization design, etc)
• Experience in one or more technical disciplines (Marine, Facilities, Subsea, Pipelines, Structures, etc.)
