Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and reliable Production Technicians to join our workforce in a high-volume commercial bakery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting bakery production machinery to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in the production process.

  • Working Hours : Rotating Schedule

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate bakery production machines to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Continuously monitor equipment performance and make real-time adjustments to optimize output.
  • Cleaning of machinery before and after shifts. Identify mechanical issues promptly and collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve them, minimizing downtime.
  • Perform detailed quality checks on baked goods, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation. Adhere to production standards and report any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to maintain a steady production flow. Communicate effectively to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
  • Strictly adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including handling ingredients and operating equipment in accordance with industry regulations. Participate in regular safety training and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and ingredient usage. Report operational data to supervisors for continuous process improvement.
  • Handle raw materials and finished products with care. Assist in loading and unloading baking materials while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Support colleagues in meeting production goals efficiently.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Production Machine Operator in a bakery or food manufacturing environment is helpful but not necessary.
  • Minimum of Diploma, OND, or HND academic qualifications.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by production schedules.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations, including HACCP protocols. Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on production machinery. Familiarity with bakery equipment is an advantage.
  • Keen eye for identifying production defects and ensuring quality standards. Ability to follow precise measurements and ingredient handling guidelines.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Ability to communicate clearly in a diverse workplace.
  • Self-motivated, reliable individuals with initiative are preferred.
