The Product/Project manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing FinCode Products and projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. As a Product/Project manager you will adequately plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

Job Description/Requirements
FinCode is a digital financial service company providing services including cross-border remittance, e-wallet, and merchant payment across Europe, Africa, America, the Middle East, and Asia. We support large businesses and SMEs with world-class payment solutions within the financial sector including financial institutions, MTOs, and money merchants.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the product understanding process using data to identify opportunities to remove friction and accelerate the growth and market adoption of our products.
- Explore and analyze the competitors, market position, industry, and market developments to propose new innovations.
- Refine internal processes between departments and develop new systems where appropriate.
- Research and analyze the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product and manage the feedback of user engagement to optimize future product development.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the company including Product Development, Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
- Coordinate Daily Creative Scrums with all necessary stakeholders, consolidating feedback & ensuring team members know the next steps and assign action items.
- Develop and prioritize initiatives and drive innovation.
- Continuously find ways to streamline workflow and optimize processes to identify best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and communicate the status of ongoing projects, identify any bottlenecks or risks, and manage expectations as needed.
- Monitor and measure the success of new product features through analytical tools.
- Tracks project statuses and manages project issues and risks, including evaluation of progress/quality from both an "on-time" and "on-budget" perspective, while developing action plans to address gaps/risks throughout the project life cycle to ensure delivery.
- Drive execution by managing the entire product development Lifecycle and bringing the business into alignment with the company vision.
- Manage concurrent projects while developing timelines with key milestones and delivery.
- Understanding and analyzing pain points and inefficiencies in the current product, validating hypotheses, and prioritizing solutions.
- Formulate strategic insight, carry out primary research on customer experience, and make recommendations accordingly to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
- Translating business strategies into product strategies assortments and product specifications that deliver against both our core customer needs and our company's strategic and financial goals.
Requirements
- Minimum academic qualification of a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading feature development and product integration. Background in FinTech a Mandatory.
- An uncompromising focus on user-centric design, applying data, research, and judgment to prioritize the biggest impact.
- High level of commercial awareness with experience in using market insight to create value propositions.
- Ability to use instinct to influence technical and business decisions backed by strong business and commercial understanding.
- Ability to understand and balance commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities.
- Eager to ask questions and understand business and product objectives.
- Working knowledge of project and workstream management tools such as Confluence, and Jira.
- Ability to establish ways of primary research, and execute and implement changes accordingly.
- Tenacious, self-starter who thrives in understanding the details of complex, cross-functional projects and can effectively distill into actionable project plans.
- Superb organizational skills and an analytical view on maximizing productivity, with a focus on value and not getting caught up on processes.
- Have the energy and patience to work in a dynamic environment and rapidly growing industry.
- Inherently curious about how things work and have the ability to self-educate when necessary.
