Multimedia News Presenter

Responsibilities:

• Produce, present, and edit short news videos on current Nigerian affairs.
• Source news responsibly from verified online and social media platforms, ensuring proper attribution and avoiding copyright violations.
• Present news clearly and professionally, showing your face intermittently throughout each video.
• Operate and manage a modern news media website, including uploading and formatting stories.
• Use WordPress efficiently for publishing, editing, and organising content.
• Manage and grow NewsMaximum Nigeria’s social media presence across major platforms.
• Edit videos using professional video‑editing software.
• Maintain a personal mini‑studio suitable for recording high‑quality news videos.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of digital journalism, online engagement, and multimedia storytelling.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in news casting, video production, and digital content creation.
• Clear and confident on‑camera presentation skills.
• Proficiency in video‑editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.).
• Ability to operate and manage a news website, especially WordPress.
• Strong command of English and excellent communication skills.
• Active personal social media accounts with evidence of content creation.
• Must reside in Lagos or Abuja.
• Must have a functional personal studio for recording.

Application Requirement: 

Applicants must submit:

• A short self‑produced news video on current Nigerian news (3-4 minutes).
• The video must: Source news from multiple print and online/social media platforms, properly credit all sources, avoid copyright infringement, and show the applicant’s face intermittently (not continuously).
• Applicants must upload their video to a social media platform under their real name and provide only the link.
• Links to personal social media handles. (so we can see your work)
• A CV detailing relevant experience.
