Mixing Operator

Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh and measure raw materials using scales and measuring devices, ensuring correct quantities are added based on production formulas.
• Set up and operate mixing equipment, adjusting parameters like speed, temperature, and mixing time to achieve the desired product consistency.
• Collect samples during production to test for viscosity, pH levels, and color, making necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications.
• Maintain detailed production records, including batch numbers, ingredient quantities, process parameters, and quality test results.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize mixing equipment between batches to prevent contamination and maintain hygiene standards.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting potential hazards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Skills: Strong math, reading, and writing abilities for accurate measurement and documentation.
• Minimum 2 years of production or distribution experience preferred.
• Prior experience in compounding, assembly, or packaging is a plus.
• Ability to calculate ingredient quantities accurately and perform simple mathematical operations.
• Understanding of machine operations and the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
