Role Description
This full-time, on-site role located in Lagos is for a highly skilled and motivated MEP Project Engineer. In this position, you will oversee and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, planning and coordinating MEP systems, conducting site inspections, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring that all work complies with applicable regulations and safety standards. The MEP Project Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with strong knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience and capabilities in Project Management, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and design specifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant design and project management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in MEP-focused engineering or similar projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards in construction is an added advantage.
