Job Summary

We are looking for an out-of-the-box Meeting and Events Coordinator to join our team to personally coordinate all our meetings, incentive, conference, and event functions. Responsibilities include interacting with existing, potential, and new clients, implementing marketing and food & beverage strategies, reviewing and documenting guests' specifications, and following up with guests to determine satisfaction. If you fully understand meeting and event and can maintain and execute client’s expectations through regular communication, we would like to meet you.

  • Minimum Qualification:Degree
  • Experience Level:Mid level
  • Experience Length:3 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • The focal point of contact for all meeting and events inquiries
  • Control meetings and events from conception to breakdown/clean up
  • Prepare weekly function sheets
  • Prepare weekly and monthly meeting and events reports
  • Attend to sales calls
  • Create, update and maintain a database of meeting and events clients
  • Work proactively to minimize complaints from guests
  • Ensure function rooms are set up in accordance with customer specifications prior to events
  • Assures quality of food and beverage products through constant dialogue with the F&B team.


Requirements:

  • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related
  • Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Meeting and Events Coordinator or at a senior level
  • Familiar with Opera, POS, Micros systems, MS Office, and any other property management system
  • Must be presentable, patient, reliable, motivated, persistent, and understand teamwork
  • Must be a good negotiator, display warm empathetic guest and customer service
  • Must be proactive with professional work ethics
  • Have initiative and be focused on quality and best service delivery
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
