We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our residential or commercial establishment. Job Description/Requirements
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting in all rooms and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors.
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure that rooms are tidy and well-presented.
- Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as necessary.
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas, closets, and pantries.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit purchase requests as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents or guests at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members and communicate any concerns or feedback to the management team.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
