Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Resolve all mechanical maintenance issues on the company machineries and recommend improvement if required
• Ensure all downtimes are eliminated or reduced
• Assembling, evaluating, testing and maintaining electrical or mechanical equipment machineries
• Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications
• Reading and interpreting mechatronic circuit blueprints, diagram and schematics
• Supervising machine operators
• Installing and performing diagnostics tests on mechanic systems
• Helping to develop and implement electrical and mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdown.
• Documenting machines fault for proper preventive maintenances and keeping maintenance or services records
• Optimizing electrical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings
• Training co-workers on the safe and adhering to industry regulations.
• Maintain an efficient and safe working environment for all employees. 
• Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as required
• Resolve all maintenance issues and recommend improvements to same if required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years mechanical or mechatronics experience in the manufacturing industry.
• The candidate must possess outstanding experiences of working with standard beverage industry equipment and machineries which includes Pet Blow Machines, Beverage filling lines, shrink wrapping machines, Industrial pumps, electric motors e.t.c

Location: It is important to note that the company is situated at Ipaja, Alimosho local govt, Lagos, and as such candidates who are residents around this axis of Lagos-state are at localized advantage

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 250,000
