Job summary

Womata E-shopping Ltd is seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketing/Sales Agent to expand our footprint in Lagos’s most vibrant commercial centers. In this role, you will help Womata in major markets, building strong relationships with electronics retailers and wholesalers.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Acquisition: Identify, connect with, and onboard retailers and wholesalers of electronics within our target locations (Alaba International Market, Trade Fair Complex, Computer Village, and Idumota/Balogun Market).
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep research to understand local market dynamics, including seasonal demand changes, popular product specifications, average market prices, and competitor activities.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Act as a consultant to the head office by recommending products, pricing strategies, and high-potential locations/promotions to ensure Womata remains competitive.
  • Brand Feedback: serves as the primary feedback loop between the market and the company, gathering first-hand customer impressions and insights regarding the Womata brand.


Requirements:

  • Market Knowledge: Proven familiarity with at least one of the target locations (Alaba Int'l, Trade Fair, Computer Village, or Idumota) is mandatory.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in sales or marketing, specifically within the electronics sector, is highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with local traders and wholesalers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to observe market trends (pricing/stock) and report them accurately to management.
  • Mobility: Willingness to work in the field and travel between the designated market hubs.
