The Manager of Information Security will be responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of our customer's information security program. This role will entail developing, implementing, sales and maintaining comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the customer's digital assets and data.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a holistic security strategy – sales and process, addressing potential threats and vulnerabilities on the customer’s site.
- Establish and communicate information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Identify and address emerging security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular risk and vulnerability assessments, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Manage deployment and maintenance of security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection etc.).
- Lead incident response activities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and deliver security awareness and training programs for customers and employees.
- Evaluate third-party vendors for security risks and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and address findings.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of information security professionals.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility for customers in the organization.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have consistently managed an Annual financial portfolio minimum of NGN 500,000,000 in the IT sector.
- Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant professional certifications.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in information security roles, with at least (2) in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles, standards, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of security professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in key cyber security solution areas.
