Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on equipment and structures as per blueprints and specifications.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of production machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and diagnose maintenance needs and repair them accordingly.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete maintenance tasks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the plant's preventative maintenance program.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs made, parts used, and time spent, in the maintenance database or logbook.
- Assist with other maintenance tasks and repairs as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Diploma in mechanical engineering or any related course
- Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience
- Candidate must be safety-compliant
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
