Sealing and Packaging Machine Operator/Electrician

Responsibilities:

Sealing and Packaging Machine Operator:

• Operate sealing and packaging machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production of spices, palm oil, and cereals.
• Set up and adjust machines for different product runs, including loading materials and calibrating equipment.
• Monitor machine operations, identifying and troubleshooting any issues that arise during production.
• Perform routine maintenance on sealing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and any issues encountered.

Electrician:

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on sealing and packaging machines, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment within the production facility.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain an inventory of electrical parts and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance.
• Work with the production team to identify areas for improvement in electrical systems and processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical or mechanical fields is preferred.
• Proven experience as a machine operator, particularly in sealing and packaging.
• Licensed electrician or extensive experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capability to lift and move heavy equipment or materials as needed.
• Dexterity and mechanical aptitude for handling tools and machinery.

Work Environment:

• Production facility with exposure to machinery noise, and occasional exposure to raw materials and finished products.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
