Logistic Officer

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the delivery of purchased items to the end customer in a timely and efficient manner.
• Liaise between the store representatives, the social media manager, and the riders to ensure the correct item(s) is/are delivered to the correct recipient(s) on time.
• Keeps record of orders made and goods delivered and submit daily to the Store Manager list/pictures of pending items needed to fulfill any pending customer order.
• Take pictures of goods delivered before delivery to ensure evidence of the condition of goods
• Properly package and label all items to be delivered
• Check daily on order status until they are delivered
• Handover items to be delivered to the company riders and track riders to ensure items are delivered to the correct recipient
• Constantly update customers with their tracking information once their order has left and follow up with customers to ensure the correct items have been delivered
• Liaise with the store manager, to ensure that correct items are processed and delivered to the correct recipient(s) on time.
• Interact with 3rdparty logistics providers as necessary
• Ensure that all logistics processes are in line with the company’s policy on the delivery of items
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required to the Logistics Officer
• Provide additional support as required to the Logistics Officer
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
