Job Summary
An architect is required to work remotely (using their own machine and the latest AutoCAD) to produce detailed working drawings - Good for Construction (GFC) drawings -that give detailed dimensioned, graphical information that can be used by a contractor, or by suppliers to fabricate components for building elements. Many of the projects are remodeling projects where structures have been partially constructed and where plans are then needed to remodel those structures. This will typically involve the architect using survey and existing architecture plans to then produce working drawings.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients and determining their needs and requirements.
- Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
- Developing and presenting project proposals.
- Adjusting designs and plans to meet the client's needs.
- Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact.
- Complying with safety standards and local planning regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience is not necessary, but competence needs to be demonstrated over a trial period, which will be paid.
- To be considered, you will need to send your portfolio (no more than 10 drawings) showing floor plans and section drawings (no more than 2 x 3D drawings).
