IT Officer

Responsibilities:

Web & Software Development

• Manage, maintain, and update the company website and e-commerce platform.
• Fix bugs, improve the user interface, and integrate third-party tools for a better customer experience.
• Implement SEO, speed optimization, and ensure website security.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide prompt hardware and software support to all departments.
• Diagnose, repair, or escalate issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, routers, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date logs of repairs and technical interventions.

Networking & Internet Management

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across all branches.
• Ensure internet uptime and troubleshoot network outages quickly.
• Maintain firewall and network security protocols.

CCTV Installation & Monitoring Support

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems across stores, warehouses, and head office.
• Liaise with external security partners when necessary.
• Provide video footage for internal security investigations as needed.

System & Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance of IT systems and electronic equipment.
• Conduct periodic system backups and antivirus updates.
• Track and maintain IT inventory and ensure proper documentation.

Social Media & Tech Support for Marketing

• Provide technical support to the marketing team for digital campaigns.
• Assist with social media account setup, access, integration, or recovery.
• Support graphic content posting (if needed) using basic tools (e.g. Canva, Meta tools).

Requirements:

• B.Sc., HND, or OND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar multi-functional IT role.
• Professional certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA), CCTV, or CompTIA are a strong plus.
• Problem-solver with a high sense of urgency.
• Proven experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, or PHP).
• Troubleshooting and repair of desktop/laptop hardware and software.
• Solid knowledge of network setup, including routers, switches, IP addressing.
• Hands-on CCTV installation and configuration experience.
• Skilled in system security, anti-virus tools, and safe IT practices.
• Familiarity with social media tech tools and backend setup (Facebook, Instagram, Google).
• Experience in working with retail software and POS systems is an added advantage.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines across multiple branches.

Candidates who do not have hands-on experience in all the listed areas (web development, troubleshooting, networking, CCTV, computer repairs, social media support) will not move forward in the recruitment process.
