We are looking for a versatile and client-focused IT Engineer to join our growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. In this role, you will provide remote and on-site technical support to multiple clients across various industries. You will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure, resolving user issues, implementing IT solutions.

Job Description/Requirements
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to multiple clients via ticketing system, email, phone, and remote tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and cloud service issues across different environments.
- Perform onboarding and offboarding tasks for client users, including configuring devices and managing access controls.
- Monitor systems proactively to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Manage and maintain client infrastructure: servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).
- Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of client systems, processes, and configurations.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work with account managers to identify and recommend IT improvements for clients.
- Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or engineering role, ideally within an MSP or IT services company.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with RMM tools (e.g., Datto, NinjaOne, Atera, ConnectWise).
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls).
- Excellent troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — ability to interact confidently with clients.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
