Job summary
A reputable Investment Company is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, analytical, and results-driven Investment Officer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying viable investment opportunities, conducting financial & market analysis, providing investment advisory services & managing client relations.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend viable investment opportunities across various asset classes.
- Conduct financial analysis, investment research, market intelligence, and due diligence to support investment decisions.
- Develop investment proposals, business cases, financial models, and feasibility reports.
- Provide investment advisory services to clients by recommending suitable investment products and strategies based on their financial objectives.
- Monitor investment portfolios and provide periodic performance reports and recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's investment growth strategy.
- Participate in negotiations, deal structuring, and execution of investment transactions.
- Monitor market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting investment decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in investment management, investment advisory, wealth management, financial services, or related roles.
- Experience in Investment Banking will be a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop profitable investment opportunities.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio management principles.
- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business development and relationship management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet-based research tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Applicants should ideally be between 25 and 35 years of age.
