Job Summary
Inventory Officer keeps stock records, receives, stores, and issues material, supplies, tools, parts, and equipment for installation/or maintenance of equipment; loads and unloads supplies and other materials; operates a variety of material handling equipment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming shipments; verifies and inspect for conformity to appropriate purchase orders.
- Post all receipts and issuance of Items into the Inventory Software and the Company’s ERP.
- Update the bin card with all issuance and receipt of items.
- Receive, classify, and credit returned or reclaimed materials, supplies, and equipment and replace them in stock according to the existing storage system.
- Verify item received against purchase orders; counts or weigh the item as applicable; store and arrange item in prescribed bins, racks, shelves, and floor or yard sites.
- Inspect incoming materials/items for wear, damage, or defects; reports any discrepancies or damage in materials/items received; notify the proper person if repairs or adjustments are required.
- Take Inventory stock as scheduled or required; post and maintain records of stock received and issued; notify the Financial Controller and Operations when supplies are getting low.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department and participate in the annual and other periodic physical inventory-taking processes.
- Contact the operations/procurement department and all concerned departments regarding shortages and conditions of materials and equipment received.
- Ensure equipment returned to the store is in good condition.
- Arranges for repairs, if need be, for a variety of tools and equipment returned to the store.
- Prepare weekly and monthly and other periodic reports and forward them to Operation, Accounts, for review.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the operations lead

Requirements:
- Knowledge of the methods and practices used in receiving, storing, and issuing materials, supplies and equipment used in the medical line;
- Methods of taking inventories and maintaining inventory records
- Microsoft office tools
- Strong Analytical and numeracy skills.
- Knowledge of basic principles and procedures of inventory control.
- Safe procedures for moving heavy objects; tools, materials and equipment used in medical line and maintenance work; units of weights and measures.
