Instrument Technician

Responsibilities:

• Instrument Installation: Efficiently and accurately install scientific instruments and laboratory equipment at customer sites, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of scientific instruments to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and longevity. Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules and performed tasks.
  
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with scientific instruments and equipment, applying effective solutions promptly. Execute repairs or coordinate with manufacturers' technical support to resolve complex problems.
  
• Quality Control: Perform rigorous quality control checks on newly acquired instruments and equipment before delivery to customers, ensuring they meet the company's standards and specifications.
  
• Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and respond to customer queries regarding instrument functionality, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Offer professional advice to customers on the best practices for instrument use and care.
  
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts and consumables required for instrument maintenance and repairs. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of necessary components.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in scientific instruments and laboratory equipment to enhance technical expertise and service quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of BSc. / HND in Elect./Elect Engineering ..or ..Physics with Electronics.
• 3 years of working experience
• Good Inter-personal relationship skills
