Job Summary

The HR Manager is a Strategic Business Partner, supporting the overall business process and ensuring the department’s activities align with corporate strategy. To be successful in this role, you must be hardworking and an inspiring leader. You must also have great people skills, excellent business acumen, be self-driven, and have an outstanding work ethic. The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to create value. They will be motivated mainly by a hunter philosophy, with an unlimited potential rewards structure. Administratively reports to the CEO.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide company-wide leadership by constantly communicating and reinforcing the company’s vision and culture to all staff members - promoting a strong culture of Excellence and Productivity
  • Implement a Recruitment & Selection strategy that attracts outstanding talents and acts as the employee champion, promoting a positive employee experience that retains the best talents. This includes but is not limited to coordinating an effective onboarding process, developing and implementing engagement programs, ensuring a safe and conducive work environment, and managing the health benefit and retirement saving plan.
  • Developing and implementing an innovative Learning and Development strategy and a world-class performance management system that recognizes and rewards the best employees.
  • Handle conflict resolution and administer disciplinary procedures where necessary.
  • Management of the payroll and bonus system
  • Actively support developing the annual budget, monitoring budget performance, and implementing innovative cost-saving initiatives.
  • Update current processes as necessary and communicate changes to the team, develop, track HR metrics and report to leadership
  • Oversee all activities of the Admin department, plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems, and devise ways to streamline processes.
  • Identify organizational issues, improve on every loop and strive for alignment across all departments


Requirements:

  • Minimum a university degree in Human Resources Management, General Management, Business, or any related subject.
  • Professional certifications are an added advantage
  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • Sound judgment and confidence in presenting recommendations
  • A good listener with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, administrative and management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and familiarity with HR functions and practices
  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite


Salary: NGN500,000 - 700,000
