Job descriptions & requirements
- Strategic Financial Management: Develop and implement strategies for cash, liquidity, debt, and investment management, aligning with overall organisational goals.
- Cash & Liquidity Management: Oversee daily cash positions, forecasting, and optimise working capital and short/long-term funding.
- Investment Management: Manage investment portfolios (e.g., fixed income, equities, money markets), monitor performance, and identify new opportunities in capital markets.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks (market, credit, liquidity, FX) and implement hedging strategies.
- Banking & Relationship Management: Manage key bank relationships, negotiate terms, and oversee bank accounts and facilities.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare reports for senior management/committees (ALCO), ensure compliance with policies, accounting standards, and regulations, and manage audits.
- Lead the Treasury/Investment team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Act as secretary or key participant in the Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO).
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure and hedging programs.
- Drive improvements in treasury systems and processes for efficiency and control.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and other departments
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; MBA or relevant Master's preferred.
- Certifications: CFA, CTP, ACA/ACCA/CPA highly desirable.
- Experience: Extensive experience in treasury, corporate finance, and investment management, with a proven leadership track record.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, strategic thinking, and risk management skills.
