Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys, keep the strategy up to date.
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Conduct performance and salary reviews.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
Requirements:
- This position is open preferably to a Female Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Studies, or Social Sciences from a recognized university.
- Active relevant professional membership/certification will be an added advantage.
- At least 5 - 7 years progressive work experience in similar positions with related responsibilities and possess a strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
- Practical experience in developing and implementing strategies for managing performance, motivation, change and culture management of staff of different diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with the National and international Labour Law
- Multitask oriented, organized, set priorities, meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for social enterprise, development of people and environmental benefits.
Working Schedule
- Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
- One Saturday in a month.
Location: Opebi Ikeja
