Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts.
- Build receivables + arrears reporting for UnionBell portfolio.
- Track write-offs/provisions and unit economics (per cohort/market).
- Set approval workflows and controls (segregation of duties).
- Manage vendor payments, payroll coordination, and compliance reporting support.
- Support audits and partner reporting.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of finance/accounting experience; lending/fintech strongly preferred.
- BSc/HND in Accounting/Finance or related discipline.
- ICAN or ACCA (qualified or in an advanced stage) is strongly preferred.
- Strong controls mindset (approval flow, audit trails, documentation).
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (models, dashboards, pivots).
- Ability to work with ops teams and translate data into decisions.
- Experience managing loan books/receivables reporting.
- Audit experience and familiarity with regulated environments.
