Graduate Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

Executive Support & Coordination:

• Act as a professional liaison for the MD—intelligently responding to internal and external requests where delegated.
• Manage the MD’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate follow-ups and action items.
• Draft professional emails, memos, briefs, and presentations as directed.
• Take notes during meetings, follow up on tasks, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Learning & Development (Technical Exposure):

• Shadow the MD during project site visits, technical meetings, and client engagements.
• Participate in technical reviews, tender preparations, and engineering documentation.
• Conduct research, prepare briefs, and support decision-making processes related to construction and civil works.
• Be coached on the business of construction, client management, and technical execution.

Operational Support:

• Assist in the preparation of project reports, client updates, and documentation.
• Support in maintaining records, reports, and filing systems related to projects and corporate affairs.
• Help coordinate communication between departments and with external partners/vendors.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 0–1 year of work experience; NYSC-completed or in view.
• Strong communication and writing skills (email drafting, minutes, professional tone).
• Eagerness to learn both engineering practice and business management.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Confident, mature demeanor with the ability to represent the MD when required.
