Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments
- Ensure tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT) and liaise with regulatory bodies
- Support inventory and cost management for production and sales
- Provide financial insights to guide business growth decisions
- Implement and maintain proper accounting controls and systems
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ICAN/ACCA certification (or in view) is a strong advantage
- Minimum 4–6 years' relevant experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or FMCG
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
