Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Managing building maintenance, repairs, and renovations, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. 
  • Implementing and maintaining safety protocols, security measures, and emergency procedures. 
  • Developing and managing facility budgets, including preventative maintenance, utilities, and supplies. 
  • Overseeing and coordinating with external contractors for specialized services like cleaning, landscaping, and security. 
  • Ensuring the facility complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. 
  • Contributing to long-term facility planning, including energy efficiency, sustainability, and future needs. 
  • Supervising facility staff, delegating tasks, and providing training. 
  • Maintaining clear communication with building occupants, management, and other stakeholders. 
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related activities.
  • Implementing and promoting sustainable practices within the facility.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in facility management or a similar role.
  • Must have a good experience in real estate. 
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory compliance (health, safety, and environmental).
  • Experience managing facility budgets, procurement of supplies, and cost control practices.
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee external service providers, including cleaning, landscaping, and security contractors.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
