The Fabrication Engineer will be tasked to oversee structural fabrication while ensuring compliance with ABS, DNV, and offshore industry standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee steel repairs, modifications, and hull structural work based on NDT inspection results.
- Develop fabrication & repair plan and bill of material for procurement of steel and other consumable.
- Ensure repair works comply with regulatory and classification society standards.
- Coordinate welding, cutting, and material selection activities.
- Work closely with steel work team.
- Maintain quality assurance and control over all repair processes.
- Provide daily repair reports and a final structural repair summary report.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in offshore/marine fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, welding codes, and NDT methods.
- Proficiency in welding, cutting, and structural assembly techniques.
Additional Skills:
- Certification in Welding Inspection (AWS CWI/CSWIP 3.1).
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural integrity.
- Strong knowledge of ABS classification rules.
- Prior experience in Special Periodic Surveys (SPS) projects for Jack-Up Lift Boats or similar offshore units.
