Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting records and internal controls.
• Process payroll and other financial transactions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor company expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Support management with financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ICAN qualification or currently an ICAN student is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant accounting experience.
• Applicants should preferably be 40 years and above.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Resides in Ojodu Berger, Omole, Magodo, Oke-Ira, Arepo, Berger, Ketu, Alausa, Ogba, Agege, or nearby communities.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Mature, dependable, and capable of handling the company's accounting functions independently.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 – 400,000 per month.
