BAT NIGERIA IS LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

SENIORITY LEVEL: Non-management

FUNCTION: Operations

SALARY RANGE: competitive salary package + excellent benefits

LOCATION: Ibadan, Nigeria

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Provide technical support to production machines in SMD and other BAT factories Ensure maximum machine availability and efficiency though effective maintenance. Implement SMD weekly cleaning and monthly maintenance Ensure documentation of weekly cleaning and monthly maintenance carried out in SMD Provide in house training to technical operators when the need arise to improve technical skill Implement EHS audit recommendation on maintenance issues Attend to technical call out request from SMD shift managers Ensure spares are planned and ready for use according to machine planned and preventive maintenance schedules. Implementation of downtime analysis of SMD machines Ensure daily machine technical records are updated Communicate effectively with Team leaders and Technicians to enhance operational objectives. Be willing to impact knowledge and training to new Technicians on production and maintenance of machines and equipment.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

HND in electrical/ mechanical engineering Minimum of 3 years experience in FMCG manufacturing company and knowledge of production processes A good understanding of electrical, electronics and instrumentation processes, both hands on and theory will be required Knowledge on PLC programming â at least at a basic level Working experience with Siemens SIMATIC S7 would be an added advantage Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals Effective communication skills in order to deliver superior performance
