Job Summary
The Electrical/Electronic Engineer will be carrying out tests and inspections of electrical systems onboard a marine vessel docked in a shipyard. This Engineer reports to the Project Manager throughout the project duration.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test electrical systems, including switchboards, generators, and transformers.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of control systems, automation, and power distribution.
- Ensure compliance with classification society and regulatory standards for marine electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in navigation, communication, and alarm systems.
- Maintain proper documentation of electrical repairs and test results.
- Submit daily electrical maintenance reports and a final electrical system assessment report.
Requirements:
- 5+ yearsexperience in marine electrical systems and electronics.
- Experience with Marine Automation (PLC, SCADA, DCS systems).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
Additional skills:
- Experience with working in a port/shipyard – familiar with the protocols/procedures in a port/shipyard.
- Prior experience in Special Periodic Surveys (SPS) projects for jack-up liftboats or similar offshore units.
