Job summary

NexGen Research is seeking a visionary leader to lead and grow our Nigerian operations center while supporting international research initiatives. This unique opportunity encompasses leadership, strategy, operations, regulatory affairs, data management, quality assurance, finance, and staff development.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and develop team members.
  • Establish operational workflows, policies, and performance metrics.
  • Support regulatory activities and documentation management.
  • Coordinate data management and quality assurance activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee administrative activities and technology implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and other departments.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and process improvement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, scientific, business, accounting, public health, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience in clinical research, healthcare administration, regulatory affairs, finance, quality assurance, project management, or operations.
  • Experience working with international organizations.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Master's degree, MBA, MPH, PharmD, MBBS, or related advanced qualification.
