Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies and frameworks to protect our systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, implement remediation measures and minimize potential impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure coding practices, secure software development lifecycles, and adherence to industry security standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding cybersecurity best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging threats, and security technologies, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance our security posture.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity matters, both internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Expert, preferably in a software development or tech-driven environment.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices, including network security, secure coding, encryption, access control, incident response, and risk management.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing techniques, and security monitoring solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and respond effectively to cyber threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
