Credit sales officer

Responsibilities:

• Generate leads and market the company’s loan products to traders, SMEs, and business owners.
• Conduct field visits to identify and engage potential customers.
• Explain loan products, eligibility requirements, repayment terms, and other relevant information to customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Collect and review required customer documents and ensure applications are properly completed.
• Follow up on loan applications from submission through approval and disbursement.
• Meet assigned sales and loan disbursement targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and sales activities.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and performance.
• Ensure all customer acquisition activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to customer acquisition strategies.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers throughout the loan process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, financial services, microfinance, or lending is an advantage.
• Strong communication, sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and carry out field activities.
• Must be target-driven and results-oriented.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business applications.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Must be confident, hardworking, proactive, and willing to work in a target-driven environment.
