Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile, tower, crawler, or overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure crane safety and functionality.
- Interpret lift plans, load charts, and rigging signals to determine safe lifting procedures.
- Collaborate with riggers, signalers, and ground crew to ensure safe and efficient load handling.
- Monitor crane performance and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with all company, client, and regulatory safety standards and procedures.
- Adjust load positioning and crane movement to avoid hazards and ensure load stability.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance, and inspections.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and site meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
