Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of ~50 people and grow across several disciplines, including three Directors.
- Guide a hiring pipeline that spans different workforce contract providers and hires remote workers from across the globe
- Set all-Engineering-level goals and standards
- Responsible for guiding the culture of Engineering
- Manage as direct reports, the Director of Engineering, Director of Customer Support, and the Director of Quality Assurance and Release Management
- Serve as a focal point for cross-team communication, ensuring that the entire company is kept in the loop
- Ensure all Engineering systems (Jira, Codeship, AWS, there are a lot) are up to date and ensure that the team is trained in their use
- Work with the Product team to develop a roadmap and guide the Directors in its execution
- Identify process bottlenecks and work with the team to solve these problems
- Keep us SOC 2, PCI, and other acronym-compliant
- Oversee security, you’ll be our CISO
Requirements:
- Have managed 50+ people with a management tier (we have ~50 now, including Support)
- Know both Salesforce and MEAN stack development (you’re a dev by trade)
- Know cachinlarge-scale scale enterprise deployment strategies
- Comfortable with AWS
- Ideally have built Salesforce packages at an ISV
- Have led a company through diligence processes related to financings or exits
