Audit Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing financial, operational, and IT systems to ensure they are effective, secure, and operating as intended.
• Identifying potential risks to the organisation, evaluating risk management strategies, and recommending improvements for risk mitigation.
• Ensuring the organisation adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Analysing business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and resource usage
• Verifying the reliability and integrity of financial records and transactions.
• Documenting audit findings and providing actionable recommendations for improvements to management, often through written reports and presentations.
• Detecting irregularities, investigating potential fraud, and advising on safeguards.
• Monitoring the implementation of corrective action plans to ensure compliance improvement.
• Providing recommendations to senior management and the board to improve governance and performance.   

Requirements:

• B.Sc//HND in Accounts.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in an Audit Firm.
• Must be Proficient in the use of Ms Word and Excel
• Must be using or have used QuickBooks Accounting Software
• Must be a resident in Port Harcourt or willing to relocate.
• Not more than 40 years of age.

Remuneration: NGN 350,000 - 400,000
